For 35 years we’ve been making performance kites with one aim in mind : to give our customers the ultimate kitesports experience. That’s why all our kites are designed and built to the highest standards to deliver the best possible performance.

The Flexifoil Ion3 is an intermediate and advanced kite suitable for buggying, landboarding, snowkiting, kitesurfing.
Otherwise known as the Hybrid with teeth, the Flexifoil Ion3 is the next logical step in the progression of the Flexifoil Ion range, delivering the highest performance hybrid kite on the market.

The Flexifoil Ion3 will maximise any wind conditions, leaving you feeling in control and free to unleash your true potential. Its massive wind range delivers more de-power, an aggressively responsive performance and faster turns to take you exactly where you want to go.
The Flexifoil Ion3 is a kite which will give you the added confidence to ride higher and harder, simply through its level of controllable performance.

Light steering with a solid driving turn and lightning quick through the window, the Flexifoil Ion 3 takes the hybrid design and gives it more bite. Whether you like smacking waves on a strapless board or boosting through the ceiling on the latest Flexifoil twin tip, the Flexifoil Ion3's performance will free your riding and allow you to maximise your session.

The Flexifoil Ion3 is available in 4 and 5-line options give you two differing configurations to suit your riding style.

We recommend flying lines (product code 62937) and can be operated by anyone with any skill level (providing you understand the kite and have been professionally taught to use the kite). The idea wind range is 18-35kph in 5th line mode or 29-40kph in 4th line mode.

Available sizes

The Flexifoil Ion3 is available in six sizes, 7.0m2, 8.5m2, 10.5m2, 12.5m2, 14.5m2 and 16.5m2 and comes complete with kite canopy, instructions, registration pack, free repair card and kite storage bag.

Choose 4 or 5-line mode

Two kites in one. Changing between the two modes results in a kite with two very different personalities.

Reduced leading edge tube

More bridles has led to a reduction in diameter of the leading edge tube at the centre of the kite that's a faster and lighter with more solid, direct feel.

New Aerofoil Shape

Based on new research for the HadlowPro, this new shape gives better upwind performance and a constant pull through the turn.
Altered Strut Pattern

The struts have graduated towards the tip of the kite to produce a more driving turn. This ensures the load from tearing the bar is transferred into twisting the kite, rather than causing any localised deformation.
