This year KPWT became the Official Kiteboarding World Championship sanctioned by ISAF and IKA.

The event this year is a Super Grand Slam 6 star! Faced with the undeniable success of the first 3 editions of Dunkerque Kitesurf Pro, the city of Dunkerque is proud to once again associate its name to this event.

As a title sponsor, Dunkerque wants to increase its investment in the sporting life of the city. With this competition, Dunkerque will be at the forefront, confirming yet again its status as one of the best international kitesurfing venues. Dunkerque, is proud to announce that this world cup will take place at Dunes de Flandre, the perfect venue for all water sports, with its vast 15 kilometres of wide open sandy beaches and optimal wind conditions. The event will be held at the Rotonde du Kursaal, the first European Kite Park.
