KA : What brand do you use in Kitesurf now (Boards and kite)?
AR : Cabrinha Kiteboarding

KA : Can you give us your feedback on this or these brand(s)?
AR : I’m rinding with the Nomad this year and I’m super happy with it. It has the real feeling of a C-kite, with powerfull loops, lots of speed, but still a lot of depower and a releaunch as a bow kite!
My board is the Caliber133. I’ve been using it for 2 years now, and I feel so confident with it. It offers all what I need, lots of pop, good tracking, a big stance and easy leading.
KA : Who is the rider who inspire you most in Kitesurf?
AR : Aaron for sure is the rider that continue pushing the sport on a cool direction. Andre Phillip is the king of style.
KA : Can you tell us about your best personal travel?
AR : I’ve been in Maui for a month this winter and it was such an awesome trip. Always windy, wavy…and I love the hawaiian ocean culture.
KA : What is the best spot for you?
AR : When my homespot is windy, that’s the best one for sure! Besides that, I think Kitebeach in Maui is Nr1 !

KA : What is your worst memory of navigation?
AR : My leash tangle around my arm, pulling so hard during a contest in France a few years ago
KA : What is your best memory of navigation?
AR : When you ride with friends is always fun! It was cool with seals in South Africa or with lots of turtles in Maui though.
KA : When you do not kite, what do you do?
AR : Lots of stuff! I’m still attending University, so when I’m home I study a bit ;) When it’s wavy, I love surfing or when the water is glassy is super cool to go wakeboarding! I also do some preparation when it’s not windy, like running, swimming, cycling…to stay fit and avoid injuries.
KA : What is the move you are working on now?
AR : I’m just trying to do all my tricks with the kite low, full speed, and hope they look good!

KA : In what style of kite do you excel?
AR : I’m into freestyle since the beginning, I’ve been Racing a little bit too…and I love waveriding!
KA : 2010 is coming quickly, what is your program for this new year?
AR : I think I’ll continue with the Italian Championship and for sure it would be cool to join the all Pkra tour again. I hope to find some sponsors that can help me doing all the stops, travelling the world!

KA : Ecology and sustainable development are increasingly present even in the kite, what is your point of view on this subject?
AR : I think we have to take care about the enviroment and our planet. Keep the Ocean and all the beaches clean is what make us able to go out riding and have fun!
KA : Thank you to mention your sponsors:
AR : Cabrinha, Turbolenza, Andrel Multimedia

KA : The last word:
AR : Always follow your dreams!!
